A leading energy-sector organisation is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join its Brisbane-based legal team on a long-term engagement through to the end of 2026. The role offers high visibility across major commercial and regulatory projects, supporting senior lawyers on contract management, compliance, stakeholder liaison and operational governance. This opportunity suits a detail‑driven legal professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, business‑facing environment and enjoys contributing to complex matters within a regulated industry undergoing significant transformation.
Responsibilities:

Reviewing base‑level agreements, managing renewals and extensions.

Drafting, marking up and preparing materials for legal team review.

Reviewing requirements, drafting updates and maintaining internal communications.

Managing calendars and supporting daily workflow.
- Scheduling professional development sessions and organising meetings with external legal advisers.
- Maintaining accurate records, tracking documents and supporting legal operations.
Requirements:

Ability to work on‑site in the Brisbane office, with consistent in‑person attendance required.

Availability for approximately three days per week for the duration of the engagement.

Capacity to start as soon as possible and step into active workflow quickly.

Relevant legal training and experience in contracts, redlining, compliance or general paralegal support.
