Legal Consultant - TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecommunications) and AI
Singapore - Remote
Responsibilities:
- Draft, negotiate, and structure complex technology agreements, including AI-as-a-Service (AIaaS), SaaS, Cloud Outsourcing, Master Services Agreements (MSAs), and data licensing deals.
- Design and implement internal AI governance policies, establishing guidelines for ethical AI usage, algorithmic bias prevention, and deepfake/synthetic media mitigation.
- Formulate commercial terms that clearly define risk allocation, service level agreements (SLAs), data security commitments, and liability caps for algorithmic failures.
- Provide rapid risk assessments on product features, user interfaces, content moderation, and consumer protection.
Qualifications:
- At least 5+ yrs of experience in TMT law, intellectual property, or data privacy.
- Experience handling AI governance, data scraping, or machine learning commercial agreements would be an advantage
- Coordinate with compliance and technical teams to ensure automated decision-making systems meet sector-specific regulatory standards for explainability and non-discrimination.
