The work you’ll do as a Technology & AI Lawyer at Axiom
As an Axiom Technology & AI Lawyer, you'll engage in high-impact work across multiple industries while enjoying the flexibility to shape your career on your own terms, including:
Advising on AI product development, generative AI implementation, machine learning systems, and natural language processing technologies. You'll develop AI governance policies and compliance frameworks, conduct regulatory assessments under the EU AI Act, US AI Accountability Act, and emerging AI regulations, advise on AI ethics, social responsibility, and algorithmic bias considerations, and handle AI-related IP issues including ownership of AI-generated works and training data rights. Your expertise helps companies navigate the rapidly evolving AI landscape while managing regulatory risk, ensuring responsible AI deployment, and positioning organizations at the forefront of AI innovation.
Drafting and negotiating cloud services agreements, SaaS subscription agreements, software licensing arrangements, and technology transactions. You'll structure inbound and outbound licensing deals, draft EULAs and terms of service agreements, advise on PaaS, IaaS, and DBaaS arrangements, negotiate strategic technology partnerships, and handle software escrow and source code arrangements. Working with software companies and enterprises undergoing cloud transformation, you provide practical guidance on complex technology agreements that enable business growth while protecting intellectual property and managing vendor relationships across global technology ecosystems.
Supporting product teams throughout the product development lifecycle from concept through launch and iteration. You'll provide legal guidance on B2B and B2C products, mobile platforms, social media features, and hardware/software integration, collaborate with engineering teams on technical requirements and legal constraints, advise on accessibility compliance, consumer protection, and product safety regulations, conduct legal reviews for new product features and releases, and manage product-related risk assessments. Your embedded support enables rapid product development while ensuring compliance, managing liability exposure, and facilitating innovation across technology platforms.
Advising on advertising technology transactions, programmatic advertising platforms, behavioral advertising compliance, and data monetization strategies. You'll negotiate data partnerships and revenue sharing arrangements, ensure compliance with EU Digital Services Act and advertising regulations, structure influencer agreements and content licensing deals, advise on cookies, tracking technologies, and user consent mechanisms, and handle media buying agreements and ad network relationships. Your counsel helps digital platforms, publishers, and advertisers navigate complex advertising technology ecosystems while maintaining privacy compliance and optimizing commercial relationships in the digital advertising space.

Axiom’s interview process typically takes about two weeks. If your interviews are successful, you'll work on your Axiom for Talent profile while our recruiting team conducts diligence checks. Once complete, you'll be introduced to your Talent Success Partner and join our Waitlist.
After you’ve matched with a client engagement and completed our onboarding process, you become an Axiom employee. Your Talent Success Partner supports you throughout your engagement and helps you find your next role while you're still working—or you can spend time "on the beach" between engagements.
