Investment Funds Attorney

We are currently seeking a Funds Attorney for a leading investment bank. 

Responsibilities:

• Work with internal and external counsel to assist in the completion of legal documentation for alternative investments as well as assist with overall fund operations and process documentation.
• Manage investment related documentation, such as purchase and sale agreements, fund agreements and internal agreements, including coordinating signature pages and compiling executed pdfs.
• Assist with investment level due-diligence and draft and negotiate side letters, LPAs, NDAs and other ancillary agreements.
• Complete pre-closing, investment, and post-closing checklists.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2-5 years experience with a major US law firm, investment bank and/or private equity business.
• Knowledge of and experience with private investment funds.
• Experience managing execution and closing process and documentation for complex private alternative funds and investments coupled with strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Must be detail oriented and comfortable working with and organizing a high level of documents.
• Available to work on-site in suburban Philadelphia 2-3 days per week (with some flexibility). 

Compensation, Benefits & Location:

This role offers a range of competitive compensation starting at $130,000+ and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits, 401K and more.  Axiomites also get access to professional development resources and learning and development programs. Axiomites predominately work remotely, with the exception that some clients require on-site presence.
