Legal Consultant - APAC Content & Online Safety, Emerging Tech

We are currently seeking to hire a legal consultant to join our team in Singapore to support our Fortune 500 client:
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic counsel on APAC content and online safety, online consumer protection, and emerging issues such as AI‑generated content.
- Interpret and implement regional legal and regulatory frameworks across company operations.
- Deliver concise, actionable legal analyses and guidance to internal teams.
- Support business stakeholders with compliance advice, particularly in areas of consumer protection and advertising standards.
- Collaborate with regulators and partner with the internal investigations team to address regulatory inquiries.
- Design and lead the build‑out of internal knowledge management systems and compliance infrastructure.
- Manage complex projects autonomously, ensuring timely execution of legal and regulatory priorities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of PQE of legal or compliance experience, preferably in‑house within APAC.
- Expertise in relevant fields of law, such as: content regulation, online safety, consumer protection, advertising standards, and/or emerging issues such as AI‑generated content
- Excellent written communication, project management capabilities and ability to work independently
