Responsibilities:
- Lead the negotiation of construction agreements, operation and maintenance arrangements, and other commercial contracts across Australia and Asia.
- Draft contracts, collaborating with commercial and technical teams involved in each project.
- Act as a bridge between commercial and technical personnel, consolidating findings into contracts.
- Manage complex contracts throughout delivery, supporting the full project life cycle.
- Prepare commercial offers and responses to RFPs.
- Assist in updating company contract templates to align with the global legal team.
- Facilitate project handover from the contracting team to the implementation team.
Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years' legal experience in front-line negotiation of complex commercial transactions.
- Proven experience leading contract negotiations.
- Background in construction or utility-scale projects.
- Strong commitment to ethics, compliance, and safety.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, and self-motivation.
- Exceptional judgment in both business and interpersonal matters.
- In-house experience highly regarded.
- Must have full Australian working rights and be eligible to practice in Australia.
