A global pharma distribution company needs to migrate thousands of contracts from disparate internal systems into a single new contract management tool (CLM). With a volume of new contracts constantly flowing in, the client needs a partner who can execute the work while allowing the legal and business teams to focus on strategic priorities
Approach
To improve business efficiency, the pharma wholesaler engaged Axiom to review and migrate bulk volume contracts via several disparate internal systems. Axiom began by bringing in a team of 3 experienced contract managers and 1 lawyer as Axiom team lead. Axiom also assigned a client manager to oversee the project, delegate new work, ensure timelines were being met, and report up to key stakeholders. Over 18 months of support, the Axiom team reviewed over 17,000 supplier contracts, flexing up and down as needed based on volume of work to meet the client’s long-term goals.
Impact
- Reviewed and migrated over 17,000 supplier agreements during 18 months of support while providing progress reports every 2 weeks to keep project stakeholders apprised.
- Effectively reviewed, mapped, and migrated contracts to client’s new CMS repository, working alongside the business to ensure timelines were met as new files continuously streamed in.
