Challenge
An energy company receives an urgent employee data request on behalf of a government regulator. With a firm 15-day deadline, the client needed to review upwards of 4000 documents, redact PII (personally identifiable information), and produce the requested work product.
Approach
Axiom installed the first lawyer to begin review within 24 hours of receiving the request. Partnering with a third-party provider to perform an initial pass on the agreements, the Axiom lawyer performed a second review to exclude documents protected by privilege and ensure remaining documents were free of PII. Over the next week, Axiom brought on an additional lawyer and two paralegals to expedite the review process and meet the 15-day deadline to file.
