Carolynn and Jon Levy, are the husband and wife team who have been involved in YC’s funding of the most influential LegalTech startups in the world. Zach Abramowitz talks to them about their backgrounds as attorneys, their experience advising startups on legal matters, and their achievement managing YC’s continued investments in LegalTech startups.

Zach is a former M&A attorney turned startup founder. He founded Killer Whale Strategies to help companies capitalize on legal industry disruption. Their clients include AmLaw 100 firms, Fortune 500 companies, Big 4 and alternative legal service providers.
Managing Director, Legal and People Ops at Y Combinator
Carolynn Levy before joining Y Combinator, Carolynn previously worked at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati, where she helped hundreds of startups with legal questions. She has a BA in political science from UCLA and JD from the USF School of Law, and is a member of the State Bar of California.
Managing Director, Partnerships at Y Combinator
Jon Levy previously counseled public and private technology companies as an attorney for Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati. He also ran ThinkEquity's private placement department and worked as a Managing Director at Merriman Curhan & Ford. Jon earned a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, and a B.A. in English Literature and Religious Studies from Wesleyan University.
