Axiom Appoints Yolanda Chan as General Manager of Asia Pacific

HONG KONG - December 20th, 2018 – Axiom, a leading global alternative legal services provider, announced today a strategic hire to its Asia leadership team. Yolanda Chan joins as General Manager of the Asia Pacific region. Chan will play a critical role in Axiom’s ability to transform the legal industry through talent and technology in the APAC region, where Axiom has been operating since 2012. Chan will be based in Hong Kong.

In her role as General Manager of APAC, Chan’s priorities will include business development and a continued focus on attracting and retaining talented professionals. Chan brings a strong managerial and technology background to her new role, with more than 20 years of APAC experience with industry-leading brands including Fitbit, Promethean, and Microsoft. 

Chan joins Axiom from Fitbit, where she served as Vice President and General Manager of APAC. She launched the fitness tracker category in APAC, and today, Fitbit is one of the most recognized fitness tracker brands in the region. Prior to that, Chan was the Vice President of APAC at Promethean, where she launched and expanded their regional footprint and established strategic partnerships in the education industry. 

Previously, Chan worked at Microsoft for 12 years, where she held a range of senior positions across the APAC region. Her last role with the company was as the Regional Director of Microsoft’s Home and Entertainment Division, where she was responsible for overall management and leadership of sales, marketing, distribution, and retail strategies. In this role, she achieved significant revenue growth and established a competitive advantage for the company across Asia. Chan holds a master’s degree in Computer Science and a bachelor’s degree from Washington State University.
