Government Contracts Lawyer

We are currently seeking a government contracts lawyers to work with our client, a global information technology company, to manage the drafting, negotiation, and administration of high-value government contracts on behalf of their Washington DC based team. This role can be performed remotely, although candidates must be in the greater DC area to attend occasional meetings as necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight, tracking, and monitoring of contract compliance obligations via manual tracking mechanisms and automated tracking systems for an IT Consulting company.
- Manage contract and subcontract administration aspects for contracts with government and commercial entities including contract modifications, Statement of Work changes, and contract review.
- Oversee daily activities, compliance, and reporting of the Contract Management System.
- Assist with drafting subcontractor agreements and modifications.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly compliance reports to include GSA, eSRS, BEA, EEO, etc.
Qualifications:
- JD preferred, although exceptional Contracts Managers will be considered.
- 3-7+ years of experience as a contracts manager or attorney utilizing contract management systems to streamline government contracting process ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies and procedures.
- Strong experience reviewing, revising and drafting contract and subcontract agreements for government and commercial entities.
- Excellent attention to details, coupled with strong technical skills and ability to work cross functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be in the greater DC area to attend occasional meetings as necessary.
Compensation, Benefits & Location:
This role offers a range of competitive compensation starting at $120,000 and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits, 401K and more.
