Responsibilities:
- Identifying potential risks and provide strategic advice on a diverse range of risk and regulatory matters.
- Addressing issues specifically related to the technology and media sector, including interpreting and advising on relevant regulations.
- Reviewing content and marketing for global digital platforms.
- Creation and amendment of policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory changes.
Requirements:
- You’ll have a minimum of 8 years relevant PQE in content and regulatory matters.
- Your background will ideally include a strong mix of law firm experience together with either secondments or in-house experience.
- Minimum 4 years working in larger legal teams in a FAANG or a global MNC would be advantageous.
- Deep understanding of Australian regulatory frameworks, particularly as it pertains to the technology and media sector.
- A commercial and pragmatic approach with excellent analytical and communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
- Must have full Australian working rights and be eligible to practice law in Australia.
