make time

If you don't already know about the Pelican Inn, you're an embarrassment to your fellow Bay Areans, a sloth, a couch potato or just plain confused. Please seek help. For the rest of you, a very healthy reminder: go! Run don't walk. Better yet, hike! Here's how we do it: Exit Shoreline Hwy (off the 101), turn left on Tennessee Valley Rd and go 1.5 miles to the trailhead. We recommend the Coastal Trail for views that will set your heart afloat and prime your appetite. Follow it to Muir Beach, then wind your way back to Hwy 1 where you'll find the Pelican Inn. Ask for a table in the back by the fireplace, put up those dogs and dive into a pint of ale, a meaty glass of red wine or just some old fashioned H2O, and ready yourself for the feast you've earned.
