Life before Axiom: Latham & Watkins; Quinn Emanuel; University of Michigan Law; UC Berkeley
I became an attorney because: I can’t turn down a dare. In this case, the dare came my junior year from a friend who dared me to take the LSAT and the rest is history.
Something you wouldn't expect to hear about me: My wife and I decided to get married two weeks after meeting. 8 1/2 years and 2 kids later, it remains the only spontaneous thing I’ve done to date.
Career Highlight: At the very beginning of my legal career I was put on an employment discrimination case. We were up against a seasoned and wily claimant counsel and the Partner on the case effectively let me run it. The experience was exhilarating and most rewarding of all was filing a writ of mandamus which we won (and was subsequently published). There have been other wins since but none as exciting as that one.
If you were stranded on a deserted island with only 3 things, what would they be?:
1. Short wave radio
2. Compass
3. Boat
