Asian Law Caucus 37th Anniversary Dinner: In Defense of Civil Rights, The 25th Anniversary of the Korematsu v. United States Corum Nobis Decision
Come support the advocacy efforts of the Asian Law Caucus and the furtherance of civil rights for all sectors of society. The dinner commemorates the 25th anniversary of the Northern District of California Court ruling that overturned Fred Korematsu’s 1944 conviction for evading Executive Order 9066, which authorized the internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II.
