Axiom is on a mission to change the way attorneys work. We're a new kind of legal services firm that offers our attorneys a self-directed practice and the opportunity for a more satisfying life. Click here for a 60-second glimpse of a short film recently made about the Axiom Attorney experience.

After graduating from Berkley undergrad and Columbia Law, Judy spent five years at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York where she focused on M&A transactions and equity work. After being seconded to Goldman Sachs, she was quickly lured in-house. With an immediate promotion to Vice President and Associate General Counsel, she supported both the futures and clearing broker business. Unfortunately for Goldman (but fortunately for Axiom), Judy returned home to sunny California and decided to try something new. Joining Axiom this past July, Judy is currently managing M&A transactions for Trimble, a company that develops products with GPS technology. When she's not in the office, Judy can be found traveling to distant lands and cheering on her alma mater football team, the Cal Bears.

Axiom is growing and we find our best people through personal referrals. So, if you know of attorneys who might be right for our firm, please don't be shy... help us spread the word.

If you're like most San Franciscans during the holiday season, you spend your time dodging winter raindrops and playing human bumper cars with droves of fellow gift-buyers that crowd Union Square. Need a breather? Well, there are plenty of alternative holiday season sights and activities for locals to enjoy; and while neither can make it magically snow in San Francisco, both promise a spirited good time.

Just outside the city in Gilroy, California’s only horticultural theme park, Bonfante Gardens will celebrate its third-annual Holiday Lights celebration. Through December 23rd, the park will sparkle with millions of dazzling lights, ice skating, holiday-themed rides like the North Pole Express Railroad and a nightly holiday parade. Bonfante Gardens is a non-profit organization, so when you purchase your admission tickets, you’re giving something back… and isn’t that what the season’s all about?

And what would the season be without the annual stocking-full of holiday-themed movies (”The Santa Clause THREE”?) and episodes of your favorite tv shows? If you simply cannot handle another viewing of “It’s a Wonderful LIfe”, head over to the Shelton Theater on Sutter Street for Trimming the Holidays, an evening of four short plays and four short films that are long on entertainment value. Skewering traditional holiday fare, each mini-production takes on the season with a healthy dose of humor.
