Shari knew from an early age that she was going to be a lawyer. After picking up her JD from the University of Chicago Law School, she headed to the Big Apple to join Paul Weiss and a few years later landed in-house at HBO. With a foot firmly in the entertainment industry, she found her natural home at Comedy Central as the GC and head of Legal and Business Affairs. Her good humor served her well as the legal counsel directing the South Park juggernaut and The Daily Show’s fake news phenomenon. Since joining Axiom, Shari has put her TV and corporate experience to good use at NBC where she is involved in everything from digital media deals to NBC News content licensing agreements to arrangements with NBC and Telemundo affiliates. Still finding time to balance a busy family life with husband and twins, there’s never a dull moment for Shari... And we get the sense, that’s just the way she likes it.
