We’ve scoured the World Wide Web so you don’t have to! Check out the Axiom Blawg Roll, our overview of legal happenings across the blogosphere.
Highlights from this month's issue include...
“Am Law 100 marks end of growth streak”
This year’s Am Law 100 report found that for the first time since 1991, profits dipped among top-grossing firms.
“Readying for the sea change”
The prevailing view is that the current legal landscape is taking its toll on women’s issues, including work-life balance and retention.
“Confidence low among
managing partners”
While confidence in the global economy saw a slight increase, that sentiment did not carry over to the legal market, according to the latest research from the Citi Private Bank Law Firm Group.

Life before Axiom: Simpson Thacher; Georgetown Law
Something most people wouldn't expect from me: I’m secretly athletic. But since these days these days I only go to the gym when I’m guilted into it (roughly six times a year), most people would be surprised to know that I played field hockey, lacrosse AND ran track when I was younger!
Career Highlight: I think I started feeling truly rewarded when I made the move to Axiom. Prior to that, I had never experienced gratitude for the work I did, but now people regularly express their appreciation.
If I could be anywhere it would be…: In Disneyworld with my two kids. They totally believe in the magic – even if my youngest was afraid of every character – and experiencing the awe and amazement through their eyes was incomparable.
Vice: I can’t say no, which is particularly difficult when you have a 3 year old daughter who is as mischievous and cute as mine.

Matt and Meredith. Times Square and tourists. Humidity and NYC summers. Some things just undeniably go together… whether we like it or not. We can’t arm you against the first two but we think we’ve got just the tool for your annual battle against the city heat: The Axiom Summer Guide.
If you’re brave enough to get active, there’s a weekly dancing festival. But for those of you who lack the Fred Astaire ambitions, sit back and watch a movie or the philharmonic al fresco. If getting out of the 5 boroughs is more your thing, get zen at an Ashram or tipsy upstate.
Whether this summer finds you heading outdoors, out of town or merely out and about, our guide is sure to have something for you. Click here to check it out in its entirety.
