Life before Axiom: Coudert Brothers LLP; Georgetown Law, LLM; Universidad Iberoamericana, JD
I became an attorney because: I think I was born an attorney. I come from a long line of attorneys so you could say practicing law was really the family business growing up. Even if I stopped practicing law, I don’t think you could take the lawyer out of me.
Most rewarding moment of my career: Hands down, teaching International Food Law at NYU Law.
Something most people don't know about me: I have an entire garden in my Manhattan apartment! I had never managed to keep a house plant alive, but after receiving an herb garden for Christmas a few years ago, I was shocked to learn that I have quite the green thumb. This year, I planted (and ate!) carrots, peas, tomatoes, arugula, endives, Chinese lettuce, thyme, rosemary and oregano, to name a few!
If I wasn't an attorney, I would be: Someday I hope to open a restaurant with my fiancé who is a chef. When I was 18, I started a catering business that has since become my family’s business in the Dominican Republic. I love being around food but I’m too much of a people person to be in the kitchen so I’d probably run the front of the house.

This January, we all said goodbye to the old and hello to the new... a new year, a new American president, new resolutions (and the packed gyms that inevitably come with those of us recommitting to better health - and a smaller waistline). Axiom added a new look to that list. We bid adieu to our old website and hello to a sleeker, more user-friendly online home at www.axiomlaw.com. If only getting on the treadmill were as easy as the navigation on our new site…
